Dr. Jennifer Xu received her medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine then completed her internal medicine residency at Emory University. She then worked as a hospitalist caring for adult patients for 2 years, but missed having continuity with her patients so went on to complete a fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at Emory University.
She is member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. She is currently board certified in Internal Medicine. She is passionate about patient education and helping patients improve their quality of life. Her clinical interests are in asthma, chronic urticaria, nasal polyps/AERD, and food/medication allergies.
She recently moved to the Sacramento area with her husband and daughter. In her spare time, she enjoys trying new foods, reading, and going on long walks.
