Dr. Randall Ow is a board-certified otolaryngologist -head and neck surgeon (ENT). Dr. Ow has been in practice in Sacramento since 2002. He recently joined Capital Allergy to focus on areas of practice he is most passionate about. He will continue to lead clinical research through Davinci Research and hopes to collaborate with Capital Allergy to investigate new drugs and devices with industry partners. He has achieved the coveted Surgeon of excellence designation with Inspire Sleep. His experience spans over a decade and he has led over 100 clinical trials, leading to over 40 publications on this research.
He earned fellowship status in numerous organizations including the American College of Surgeons (ACS), the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery (AAO-HNS), the American Rhinologic Society (ARS), the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy (AAOA) and the Academy of Physicians in Clinical Research (APCR).
He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and went on to the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, where he received his M.D. degree. He served 17 years in the U.S. Air Force where he had a tour in Okinawa as a Pararescue flight surgeon. His ENT training came in San Antonio, Texas. He also served in California, Korea and Alaska.
He is very active in his community and serves on the Executive Board of St. Albans Country Day School, Senior medical advisor to Kenya Relief, Physician Team member of the Federal Disaster Management A**** Team, and enjoying coaching on the school basketball/cross country and track programs.
His wife is an Ob-Gyn with Associates in Women’s Health. They have 4 children – one in P.A. school at the University of the Pacific, twins who will play soccer in college at Saint Mary’s and Biola, and a son at St. Albans Country Day School.
